Origin gave me Anticheat problems until I found a workaround solution (reinstall every launch), then when Origin stopped working I had to get into the forums again to get the game to launch from the EA app. This is the third time now I've run into major issues launching this game on either platform. I couldn't install games, it wouldn't update games, it was functionally dead. If you don't check that box, the installer will still run, the Origin client will still install, but it won't have the correct permissions to actually do anything. I've tried adding admin privileges to every EA executable. Right click on the OriginThinSetup.exe, go to Properties, and check the box that says 'Unlock this file'. I've tried repairing the installation of the EA app and the game. but I DID start the game from the EA app. Copy paste the below command lines one by one, and press enter: del c:\windows\syswow64\config\systemprofile\appdata\roaming\origin\telemetry\data. I have not changed ANYTHING on my computer since it last worked, changed provider, changed router settings, or whatever. Right-click Command Prompt, select Run as administrator. After a few seconds of ''preparing download'' I get a screen that tells me to go back and accept a windows popup, however, this popup/permission does never appear. Then an Aniticheat error message pops up, saying "Please start the game from Origin or the EA application" Here are current workarounds to get you back into your games: Type CMD in Windows search bar. the game ALREADY HAS administrator privileges. Do you want to grant access and launch the game?" This game requires administrative privileges. Now I get this message when I attempt to launch the game through the EA app: It ran just fine without problems 2 days ago. Looks like the EA app updated again and now I can't launch my game (FIFA 23).
